Seung-Hee PARK
Seung-Hee PARK completed his Vocal-Studies at Seoul National University before he moved on to Europe, where he studied Lied and Early Music in Karlsruhe, Basel, Trossingen.
During his studies Mr PARK won prizes for solo and ensemble presentations at the following competitions :
International Bach Competition, Brugge Musica Antiqua Concourso, Chimay Baroque Singing Competition, Yamanash Early Music Competition.
Throughout his career he has co-operated with renowned musicians in Europe, in Japan, and in Korea, such as
Helmuth Rilling, Frieder Bernius, Masaaki Suzuki, Philippe Pierlot, Johannes Leertouwer, Terakado Ryo, and ensembles such as the Thomanerchor Leipzig, the Bach Collegium Japan, Concerto Palatino, Il Fondamento, Concerto d’Amsterdam, Floreligium Musicum, and the Gurzenich- Orchester Koeln.
Mr. PARK teaches at Yonsei University in Seoul, where he is responsible for educational course-works in the Early Music program. In addition to that he runs a regular radio-broadcast-program at FE. Broadcasting Korea, predominantly on topics related to Early Music and religious composition.
